CALEDONIA

Caledonia is a musical group from the valleys of central, Pennsylvania. Founded by William Ryan (guitar/vocal) and Daniel Collins (fiddle, vocal). They formed during the covid pandemic when Ryan began recording some original materials at Collins’ Earwicker studios and the two found an instant musical chemistry. Their sound is centered around Ryan’s vocals and Collins fiddle, weaving together elements of country, bluegrass, folk, and Irish music into a unique but distinctive blend. The name Caledonia is a reference to the Caledonia Pike, which begins outside of Philipsburg and ends in the Moshannon State Forest of Clearfield County; Ryan’s birthplace and home to a family cabin from which they draw inspiration for many of Ryan’s lyrics. They are currently working on a new album of original material and playing shows throughout the region. For more information you can follow them at @caledonia.band.
